Sedation Dentistry

As well as holding a license to practice dentistry Dr. Cafarelli is also licensed to administer intravenous and oral sedation.  It is possible to have your dentistry performed while you sleep!

It is similar to the anesthesia provided for out patient procedures such as colonoscopy and endoscopy.   Sedation dentistry works well for many types of patients from our highly anxious patients to patients who do not have the time to visit the office multiple times to complete their dental needs.

Dr. Cafarelli will often reserve a time block where patients can come in, have sedation and have all of their dental needs completed in just one visit!  Call us to find out if sedation is right for you.

We also offer Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) for our patients comfort.
